In So I Married an Axe Murderer (1993), a baby-faced baby Mike Meyers plays Charlie Mackenzie, the anti-Austin Powers. Charlie is a San Francisco poet who doesn't have much luck with the ladies... until he meets and marries Harriet (Nancy Travis), who works at a butcher shop and seems too good to be true. Through a series of terrifying revelations, Charlie begins to suspect that his new wife might be the infamous serial killer Ms. X — a possibility that could prove to be a relationship deal-breaker. The Bold Italic presents the adventures of Charlie as the inaugural screening of their new film series, SF Film Redux. Your ticket also gets you one drink at Dalva, and meat samples from Fatted Calf Charcuterie... which makes this a thrilling evening of meat and murder.
