Edinburgh Castle Pub

950 Geary St

$10 at door

Fill your hurdies! A Burns Supper consists of haggis, neeps, tatties, and a dram with a heaping side of poetry. If you know what most of those ingredients actually are, you're more than likely already familiar with Robert Burns, the 18th century Scottish poet who jumpstarted the Romantics and earned a reputation as "the greatest Scot" that lives on to this day. For Burns fanboys and the uninitiated alike, Edinburgh Castle Pub hosts an annual night of whiskey, minced sheep parts, and (slurred?) literature that's sure to be as intellectually stimulating as it is joyously inebriating.

Edinburgh Castle Pub says…

Celebrate with the Scots on Burns Night. Bagpipes, the haggis ceremony, whisky lashings and the poems and songs of Robert Burns, Scotland's national poet.
