Renegade Craft Fair Holiday Market

Daily (11am–6pm)

Concourse Exhibition Center

635 8th St

“The aisles of the Renegade Craft Fair are like the best of coming to life. Chicagoans Sue Daly and Kathleen Habbley started the indie fair nine years ago, when they couldn't find a venue to sell their silk-screened wooden jewelry and coin purses. Traditional craft fairs had steep fees and didn't fit their aesthetic, so they started their own. Renegade was such a success that Daly and Habbley quit their jobs as waitress and animal-shelter employee, and have spread the biannual fair to Chicago, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Austin, and San Francisco. This weekend, they set up shop in the Concourse for a special holiday version of the fair. Expect a meticulously curated vendor lineup that includes découpaged globes from ImagineNations, wooden apparel and six-pack carriers from Wooden Thumb, fascinating local history courtesy Gangs of San Francisco, and over 200 others.”
