It's quite possible the Grateful Dead would not be a household name today, if not for the wizardry and colorful, tripped-out projections created by the Joshua Light Show. Led by multimedia artist Joshua White, the JLS have been transforming concerts into miraculous, mind-blowing synesthetic experiences since the late '60s. Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, and the Doors are just a few of the acts whose performances benefited from White's talents. Now, for four nights only, the JLS are up to their old (but updated) visual antics, supplying an illuminating backdrop to the musical stylings of John Zorn, Lou Reed, composer Terry Riley, and MGMT co-founders, Benjamin Goldwasser and Andrew VanWyngarden. No doubt these shows are going to leave an indelible imprint. Secure your tickets now.
