As part of its See it in 70MM series, the Film Society of Lincoln Center is presenting a screening of the 1982 classic, Tron. A contemporary of the Commodore 64 and Atari 2600, Tron was the first major studio movie to feature computer-generated special effects extensively. It tells the story of a disgruntled computer engineer played by Jeff Bridges, who tries to hack into Master Control Program to seek revenge, but instead finds himself digitized and imprisoned in the computer. A gnarly battle ensues and you can probably guess what happens from there. Don't miss this rare chance to see it the way it was intended, in glorious 70MM.

Tron (1982) also screens on December 30 at 2pm.
