Wave Hill says…

In collaboration with the Hudson River Museum and the Palisades Interstate Park−NJ Section, Wave Hill offers an art workshop series inspired by the Palisades. In this session, Join Paula Winokur, a ceramic sculptor whose work is part of Wave Hill’s fall exhibition Foregrounding the Palisades, in this hands-on workshop inspired by the Palisades. Winokur shares her long-term interest in geological formation and the creative process involved in making her work, which play with scale and perspective. She demonstrates the techniques she used to construct her piece, and guides participants in building their own small landscapes using other methods of hand-building with clay. Prior to the workshop, Wave Hill’s Curatorial Fellow leads an intimate tour of the exhibition.  Final session in the Picturing the Palisades workshop series.

Space is limited. $20 Wave Hill Member/$30 Non-member each session.  Registration required, online at www.wavehill.org, onsite at the Perkins Visitor Center or by calling 718.549.3200 x305.
