“If you've had some trepidations over investing in the larger scale film festivals, fret no more. The Big Apple Film Festival is a significantly smaller, yet tight-knit film festival. This year it will take place in the appropriately intimate and cozy Tribeca Cinemas. Have a pre-cinematic beverage at the bar while paying homage to cinematic art created by your local indie moviemakers. Chicken screening, one of Flavorpill's favorites, will be showing on Thursday, November 15. Chicken is a short film about "fear and love on vaction", a "portrait of temporary intimacy" between two travelers. Director Jessica Sue Burstein and fellow actor Franz Maria will be attending as well so make sure to say hello!”
