Celebrate bacon in all its delicious forms at the Los Angeles Bacon Festival during its premiere at the Petersen Automotive Museum. Enjoy bacon in dishes savory and sweet and in beverage form. General admission earns you entry to the Petersen and tastes of any and all the bacon dishes you choose from dozens of vendors, including such temptations as candied-bacon ice cream sandwiches; Triple Bacon Bypass Tater Tot Poutine with five-spiced lardon, bacon gravy and kimchi bacon fat aioli from Starry Kitchen; Public Kitchen’s bacon rocky road bar; and The Charleston’s hoisin belly baos. VIP admission gets you all this, plus early entry and alcoholic beverages, including bacon-infused rum cocktails from Shellback Rum (who are also hosting a boat race in their hut, and giving out some of their boat shoes,) and bacon-flavored ice cream beer floats from Drunken Udder Ice Cream.

Though VIP tickets are now sold out, there is a waiting list for general admission.

Drink Eat Play says…

Featuring dozens of restaurants and bakeries, the event will play homage to all things bacon, presented in both sweet and savory dishes. VIP admission includes cocktail tastings, admission an hour earlier later, and some surprise perks. Admission is limited and will sell out in advance.
