The 8th Annual Focus on Female Directors continues its quest to bring the work of women directors to the fore. Screening at the historic Egyptian Theatre, this showcase of shorts includes an animated film called The Reality Clock by Amanda Tasse, along with How Reddit Was Born by documentarian Ondi Timoner, founder of Interloper Films and director of We Live in Public.

Films include: Jill Soloway’s “Una Hora Por Favora”; Brie Larson, Sarah Ramos & Jessie Ennis’ “The Arm”; Amanda Tasse's animated "The Reality Clock"; Clarissa De Los Reyes' "Johnny Loves Dolores"; "When the Day Breaks", a Cannes Palme d'Or-winning short from the directors of last year’s Oscar-nominated "Wild Life”; Ondi Timoner’s “How Reddit Was Born”; Julie Delpy’s “Blah, Blah, Blah". Discussion following the screening with filmmakers Jill Soloway, Brie Larson, Sarah Ramos, Jessie Ennis, Amanda Tasse, and Julie Delpy. Reception in the lobby following for all ticket holders.
