Gordon Ramsay's new restaurant at the Grove, the Fat Cow offers comfort food made with fresh produce from the world-famous Farmer's Market next door. Lined with leather booths and centered with a communal table, the elegantly rustic vibe is enhanced with lots of reclaimed wood and unique, custom-made light fixtures. Despite the emphasis on comfort food, the Fat Cow makes some great salads, including the standout: the skinny cow chopped salad with Tuscan kale, cabbage, carrot, radish, and pumpkin seeds. It's far tastier than its über-healthy ingredients might suggest. There's also an array of stone-baked pizzas, the choicest topped with coppa picante, figs, fontina, and roasted garlic. The cocktail list includes the Hell's Kitchen Antioxidant, a medley of VeeV açai liqueur, lemon, blueberries, mint, and bitters; and the Perfect 10, a mix of Ketel One, passion fruit iced tea, mint, and lemon juice. Make sure to save room for dessert, because the British-focused menu includes the highly noteworthy sticky toffee pudding, Eton mess, and of course, Harry Potter's favorite dessert, treacle tart.
