Cameo Gallery says…

The Young: With their conception a little over 5 years ago, The Young started out as a louder post-hardcore punk band and with the course of time began to be more mellow and steady. These Texas natives eventually came onto the scene in 2010 with ‘Voyagers Of legend,’ a gem of a release on Mexican Summer that had them established as an american psychedelic standard. Over the course of the years to come, they’ve shared stages with the likes of Kurt Vile, Pierced Arrows, and Endless Boogie to name a few. With a signing to Matador Records, Hans Zimmerman and company are slated to unleash their new tunes to a more than receptive audience.

Dignan Porch

Slackness and effortlessness are both traits that Dignan Porch seem to relish. The project has centered around the London based, Walsh brothers, Joe and Sam who have taken those early pink floyd and no wave attributes to make music that’s both bright and lo-fi at the same time. Their first full length, “Deluded’  was released to critical acclaim on Captured Tracks and helped them to play with acts like Ty Segall, Yuck, and The Smith Westerns. With a sound defined by woozey phasers and flangers as much as meticulously crafted melodies, they are sure to melt your heart.

Eraas: Formed last year by members of APSE, Eraas have a fourthcoming self-titled release on the newly founded Felte Records. Three tracks from the album have already surfaced, including “At Heart,” “Briar Path,” and “Fang.” Their sound is mostly minimal post-punk with hints of krautrock and primitive emotive drums. Blissful and dark, they are a supporting act not to be missed.
